Chesney Long is the 18 year old daughter of Shannon and Trina Long. She is Valedictorian of her senior class and will be attending Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee where she will be on their Pom Squad. While at OBU, she will earn her degree in Elementary Education. Chesney is the president of Haworth Key Club. She is the senior class vice-president, a member of the Academic Scholastic Team, a member of National Honor Society, and a member of Student Council. She has been in competitive and recreational dance for 14 years. She is on the Haworth Varsity Cheer Squad, the softball team, and show choir. Chesney has shown goats for 14 years. This past fall, she was crowned Miss McCurtain County. Chesney is very involved at her church, Haworth Assembly of God. She is on both the youth and adult praise and worship team. She teaches a Sunday School class of ages 2 – 8 years old. She also helps in the train room (kids 2-4 years of age) once a month. She is honored to serve the community this year as Miss McCurtain County.
